Marketing Coordinator / Arete
As the Marketing Coordinator for Arete, I manage 8 social media accounts, build out at least 5 unique email blasts weekly, which are sent out to 35,000 people, create content, spearhead community management, and build out our content plans in advance.
The gist:
Developed a social media strategy, executed content creation from start to finish.
Raised accounts reached by 107.3% in my first 30 days, and 82.8% in the first 14 days.
Designed and formatted emails that were sent to 50,000 people nationally and accounted for 62% of sales .
Spearheaded influencer outreach, wrote contracts and signed creators, developed content briefs, managed influencers, and managed the entire process from start to finish.
Created and managed meta ads for both local and national reach.
Managed 8 social platforms on a daily basis, using Zoho to manage the content calendar.
Wrote and published blog posts to the website, which were then featured in emails and social posts.

I came up with this idea around May 4th, (may the fourth be with you) to help educate Arete customers on current offerings and their highlights. This project engaged viewers by letting them pick their favorite strain between 2, each week. There were 3 editions, with the final being the winner who received the most votes from the previous 2 posts.

The Daily Daze is an ongoing project I came up with, which allows me to introduce small Arete-related “stories” on a recurring basis. So far, I have used it to promote Arete’s local 1 hour delivery in Charlotte & Asheville, as well as quick, discreet national shipping. I start by creating a document and writing out the story I want to tell, before dividing it all up into individual frames that specify what each text box should say, the design/environment, and reference photos of products for Ai to use. I then feed the document into Ai, and then go from there until I’m happy with the outcome. I have been exploring using Ai to assist in creatives, and this has been one of my favorite projects so far.

The World Cup took the world by storm, and I wanted to utilize this by creating the first Arete World Cup series. This series featured over 15 dedicated posts across stories and grid posts. Followers could vote via story on which strain they wanted to see advance in the bracket. The bracket included one side of luxury strains, and one side of budget strains. The winner was announced on the regular World Cup finals match day.

Arete offers designated Luxury & Budget collections, and the goal of this post was to show potential/current customers how far any budget can go across the website. Arete quality can mean some options are more expensive, but you don’t have to sacrifice said quality to get an amazing experience.

SOTD is a recurring series of story posts that go up once a week on our Instagram story. I usually use this to promote one of the weeks strain drops, and each post features a direct link to the product.
